Long Time No Posts AND Big Album News!!

OK, so my last post here was a general whine about missing the music of Carolyn Arends -- new albums, concerts, random song goodness she sometimes throws out there -- and a lament about how her graduate program at Regent seemed to be taking FOREVER. Happy am I to report that her graduate studies are now complete, her designation as a Master of Theology has been confirmed on paper (though it has been confirmed in the hearts of those who love her theological ruminations and points of view for much longer), and she lickety-split announced the funding of a second Christmas album through  Kickstarter! Whoo-hoo!  Am I right?

Well, the Kickstarter project was funded at over 260% because, well, everybody who has ever heard Carolyn's music loves it and wants more of it and I knew that it was not only Vermonster, MarkD and I who have been mooking about wishing for more new stuff for the past five years. To paraphrase Glengarry Glen Ross: People were just sitting there, waiting to give her their money; and she was musician enough to take it!  Yay, yay, yay for Christmas: The Story of Stories -- coming on or about October 15, 2014!

As we get updated information, I'll try to be a bit more faithful about posting here. Would love to hear from my fellow contributors, too. Let's have a good, happy squeal together and feed off the awesome! Cheers!
